Parking + Transportation
On the move.
Each day, UNM Parking & Transportation Services supports an average of 55,000 people getting to and around UNM’s main, north and south campuses.
Resources to meet your transportation needs:
- Student Parking Permits- Depending on where you live, students may purchase annual parking permits designated for parking in main campus resident parking lots, Lobo Rainforest parking lots, student commuter parking lots, or student proximity parking lots. Due to limited availability, permits are sold on a first come, first served basis. Please see our student parking page for parking lot rates and restrictions, and parking permit sale dates.
- UNM Shuttles - Designed for rapid and convenient campus travel, PATS’ transportation system is a comprehensive transit network, offered free of charge* to UNM students, staff, faculty, and visitors. We offer multiple bus routes on campus with service to every area of The University including UNM commuter parking lots. Download the UNM LoboMobile app today to track your ride, or visit Where’s My Bus.
- Be on time for your classes - Follow us on Facebook or Twitter to receive construction updates, detour information, high- traffic alerts, lot closures, and more.
