Meal Plan Requirement
First-year freshmen, residing on main campus (Casas del Rio or UNM Housing), must purchase a meal plan.
If a freshmen resident does not choose a meal plan, the default meal plan – the Lobo 15 weekly plan – will be charged to the student’s Bursar account by the first day of the semester or at any point that a housing report identifies that a required first-year freshman is without a meal plan.
Find the meal plan that fits your lifestyle. Visit food.unm.edu to review all available meal plan options and make your selection.
Please Note: The deadline for meal plan changes is 3 weeks after the first day of the semester for both Fall and Spring semesters.
Why require first-year freshmen residents to have a meal plan? Having a meal plan helps to ensure that students have access to food at all times.
